A portion of all proceeds made from the Holiday Lights Tour will be donated to the Hawaii Foodbank. Here at the Holiday Lights Tour we believe in supporting the community through feeding the 'ohana of Hawaii especially, during these tough times. This is why we are also offering customers to bring canned goods to the event itself to be donated to the Hawaii Foodbank as well.
Hawaiʻi Foodbank nourishes our ʻohana today and works to end hunger tomorrow.
For 40 years Hawai‘i Foodbank has been providing food assistance to the state of Hawai‘i, and as the official food bank of the state of Hawai‘i, we serve O‘ahu and Kaua‘i directly while partnering with The Food Basket to serve Hawai‘i County and Maui Foodbank to serve Maui County. As Hawai‘i’s leading hunger-relief organization, we are committed to strengthening our partnerships and programs to provide safe and healthy food access for our keiki, families and kūpuna facing hunger.
Hawai‘i Foodbank continues to serve approximately 50% more individuals than pre-pandemic with nearly 250,000 Hawai‘i residents, including 1 in 4 keiki struggling with food insecurity in Hawai‘i. With the cost of food and utilities on the rise, many families are forced to make the tough decision between putting food on the table or basic needs. Together, with our extraordinary network of over 200 food partner agencies, dedicated volunteers and supporters like yourself, we can work to end hunger in Hawai‘i.
Mahalo for helping us fill plates – and hearts – this holiday season.
